What we keep, and why

Swingman stores the video and shot data you ask it to, your account details, and very little else. There are no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts. This page is the whole story.

Who is responsible

Swingman is operated from the United Kingdom and is the data controller for the information on this page. For anything to do with your data, email [email protected]. Swingman is for adults: you need to be 18 or over to hold an account.

What is not collected

Cookies

One cookie, swingman_session, set when you sign in so you stay signed in. It holds a random token, nothing about you. The public pages set no cookies at all. Your browser may keep small settings locally (such as which phone is the display); they never leave the device.

Where it lives, and who else touches it

Nobody else. Your footage is never used to train models, never sold, and never shared with launch-monitor companies or anyone else. If that ever changed, this page would say so first and you would be asked.

Sharing

Only you can see your sessions, unless you create a review link. A review link shows the footage, shot numbers and clubs of that one session to anyone who has the link, and lets them comment. It never shows launch-monitor numbers, coaching or notes. Send it to the person it is for, and withdraw it when you are done.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to how it is used. You can delete your account yourself at any time in Settings → Account → Delete my account: clips, pose data, shots and sessions go with it straight away. Copies in the nightly backups age out within a week. For anything else, or if you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account; deletion by request is done within a week and confirmed by email. If you are unhappy with how a request was handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

This notice changes when the service does. The date at the top is the last change; material changes are announced to account holders by email.
